Your Purpose: In this position, you will be responsible for establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to connect with existing and potential sales outlets and trade professionals. You will keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call reports and territory analyses. Demonstrating flooring and decking samples, explaining features and benefits, and addressing customer questions will be key components of your role. Additionally, you will assist customers in making informed decisions by presenting competitive pricing and helping them select the best flooring solutions for their needs. Your Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will also include conducting on-site evaluations to assess requirements, measuring spaces accurately, and identifying potential challenges. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final installation and post-project follow-up. Collaboration with customers, architects, designers, and contractors will be crucial in defining project scope, budget, and timeline. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of flooring materials and managing inventory levels will be part of your duties as well. What's Required: To succeed in this role, you should have a Grade 12 education, with a certificate or diploma being advantageous. A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in flooring, decking or high-end decorative product sales is essential, along with a strong understanding of various flooring types, materials, and installation methods. Experience working with architects, designers, developers, and high-end clients is highly desirable. Additionally, a background in project management, the ability to read building plans, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success.
