Mechanical Qualification Own Car essential. Must have Internal Sales experiece in a either mining plant or earth moving or automotve spares environment. Technical exposure is essential - ideally with knowlegdge of wearparts in a mining/earth moving environment would be a distict advantage. Matric and excellent communication skills plus mechanical exposure. Strong administration skills plus a sales diploma and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience preferably in an after-market, mining or earth-moving equipment, including stock control, product management technical role. Excellent computer literacy with experience in Excel and some ERP systems is essential. Would be responsible for supporting the Spares and Wear Parts Sales Manager to increase spares sales and meet sales budget requirements. SALES Cultivate spare parts sales Grow spare parts sales Develop new spare parts customer relationships Follow up on spare parts sales leads Provide after sales service to new and existing customers Build relationships with existing customers Take corrective action on spare parts sales Must be available for Standby as per schedule FINANCE Create Dispatch Notes for spares supplied to clients Produce quotations for spare parts Manage the Cash sales account and the Trial Balance. ADMINISTRATION Produce the weekly spare parts backorder and collections reports Should be able to escalate a Breakdown request quickly and effectively Be able to handle a Warranty Claim, via the correct Process Handle customer complaints and returns via correct Process Select correct Courier Service dependent on the urgency of the required parcel A minimum of 3 years' experience in mining plant or earth-moving spare parts sales. Managing Outlook and being able to handle bulk emails Be able to work with excel. Must have a good understanding of Courier Services. This internal sales function requires someone with technical exposure - specifically in mining-plant / earth moving aftermarket and wearparts spares sales Excellent communication skills plus a sales diploma plus technical exposure.
