School Book Sales Manager - Johannesburg
Our client has a vacancy for a School Book Sales Manager. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements are invited to apply.
Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience as a school book sales manager in publishing or retail environment
- Strong communication and management skills
- Analytical and data driven problem solver
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- In depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team
- You are a strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of the organization
- Availability to travel
- Own reliable transport, with valid driver’s licence
Duties will include:
- Lead and motivate national sales teams
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets
- Research and identify new potential customers and opportunities
- Negotiate and sign SLA with national and regional customers
- Review and adjust marketing plans
- Tracking sales data to find strengths and weaknesses
- Networking and managing large client contracts
