Reference: JHB000035-Nique-1 Objective: To manage and oversee training, development, recruitment, and talent management initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and contributing to the Organization's overall HR strategy. Recruitment: Coordinate & manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, onboarding. Develop & implement talent acquisition strategies to attract/retain top talent. Collaborate with Department heads to identify staffing needs & workforce planning strategies. Manage employee relations, develop/execute employee engagement & retention initiatives Coordinate performance reviews and ensure feedback is provided to employees. Implement effective talent management processes: succession planning & career development programs. Skills Development: Identify training and development needs through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers. Advise upon and assist the Employer to develop a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) which complies with the requirements/ quality assurance of the SETA. Assist the Employer to draft an ATR on implementation of WSP, and to relevant SETA. Act as the contact person/communicator between Employer and SETAs. Serve as a resource regarding all aspects of skills development. Communicate within the companies concerning SETA requirements & offerings. Organize quarterly SDL & EEQ meetings. Arrange annual medicals for required staff. Ensure effective and efficient coordination of learning programs and related tasks. Demonstrate skills development expertise aligned with National Skills Development Strategies. Manage, control, and reconcile all purchase orders and expenses within allocated budgets. Oversee annual SOP training for all staff in the factory, preferably in January/February. Quality control of all learning records & documents. Load training interventions on Sage 300. Oversee on-the-job training for both factory and office staff, including monitoring and evaluation. HR Duties: Assist the HR Manager when required, including payroll duties, BBBEE reporting, etc. Ensure all EEQ requirements are loaded on Sage 300 ; prepare EEQ Reports annually Submit IOD online claims on the relevant systems & manage administration thereof (WCA/RMA). Any other supplementary task or duty that's reasonably necessary to carry out on the main function or duty of the job, or any task or duty reasonably required by you. Education & Training: Completed Grade 12 and Diploma in Human Resources or Industrial psychology or similar Knowledge & Experience: Minimum Experience Indicator: 1-2 years' experience in a similar position Knowledge, exposure, and experience in skills development and training Sage 300 People systems knowledge, exposure & experience Skills & Abilities: Strong people skills Effective negotiation & explanation skills Ability to work on own initiative Commitment to inclusion Proficiency in Microsoft packages, Sages 300 people Able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
