PRI are on the hunt for skilled mining talent in Africa , if you are a Section Manager with experience in South Africa , Australia or Canada please get in touch . As Section Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and safe mining operations. Duties include but not limited to ;- Production Coordination : Control, direct, plan, and coordinate mining production activities. Safety Responsibility : Statutory responsibility for safety within the mining section. Environmental Impact : Responsible for minimizing the environmental impact of mining operations. Oversee compliance with environmental regulations and vest practices. Equipment Management : Oversee the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and storage of mining plant and equipment. Ensure Machinery is operational/well maintained Financial Management : Mining section managers develop and manage the financial budget for their section. Manage operational expenses and resources effectively Communication and Representation : Communicate across technical and non-technical departments , represent the organization in external stakeholder meetings , and negotiate on behalf of the mining section Bachelors degree in Mining or related field 3-5 years in Same or Similar role GCC and /or advanced diploma in Mine Management African or Australian Mining projects experience highly advantageous Market related
