The Security X-Ray Service Technician role requires the individual to primarily: fault-find, install, commission, and maintain, Security X-Ray Machines, and other ancillary items as well as assembly of inhouse manufactured products. The individual must have good customer relations capabilities as well as a strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical trade. The individual may be required to travel outside the borders of South Africa and must have a valid passport. Assembly, Installation, Commissioning and to present Operator-Training of OEM Equipment Execute scheduled Production-and Maintenance Services Complete Monthly Reports which include but is not limited to Quality Assembly Inspection Reports Attend to Call Outs as and when required (Inside and outside of normal working hours) Assembly, Installation, Commissioning and to present Operator-Training of OEM Equipment Qualifications and Education Requirements: Minimum of N6/S4 in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification (preferable) Valid South African Driver's License (Pre-requisite) - Preferably EB allows articuate vehicle with a trailer Valid Passport Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Installation, Commissioning and Fault-Finding Ability to work in a Team Attention to detail (Pre-Requisite) Client Service experience Read, Write and Speak English Assembly of OEM Equipment Computer Literate: Windows and Microsoft Knowledgeable of Quality Control and Quality Check Procedures Ability to analyse wiring diagrams Other: Willing to work Overtime Willing to work Shifts and Standby Willing to Travel Local and Abroad Own Transport Market Related (Based on Experience)
