Reference: PTA000019-MG-2 A Well-established printing and publishing firm has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on the outer skirts of Pretoria-East Pretoria-East and Kempton Park would be ideal areas to stay in Working hours: Monday – Friday: 07h30 - 16h30 Minimum requirements: BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on month-end procedures and financial analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pastel, Zoho) is a plus. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines. Duties will be, but are not limited to: Lead month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and packs for management review. Analyse financial data and trends to identify variances and areas for improvement. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial information and assist with decision-making. Assist with approvals and review of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
