Senior Accountant - Cape Town City Centre
My client, a leading cloud-based accounting firm, is offering an exciting opportunity for a young and dynamic SAIPA qualified Account Manager to manage the accounting portfolio and perform outsourced accounting functions based in Cape Town. You would need to be deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. Responsibilities:
- Build and manage client relationships and ensure compliance
- Supervise bookkeeping function
- Plan and manage all client deliverables i.e. all inter-functional activities
- Complete outsourced accounting and bookkeeping functions for clients
- Prepare and submit tax returns, provisional tax, payroll, EMP201, VAT recons and related returns
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Pro-actively train and complete required CPD
- Have a strategic mindset towards growth with a commitment to ethical excellence
Requirements:
- B.Comm in Accounting or related financial degree
- SAIPA with completed articles
- 1-3 Years Xero cloud-based accounting experience essential
- Accounting, Income Tax, Provisional Tax, PAYE, VAT, SARS, E-filing knowledge
- CaseWare experience
- Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills
