EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Proven track record in a sales or BD role in the Southern African renewable energy sector. Technical knowledge of renewable energy solutions (specifically PV & Storage)
- Minimum 8 - 10 years relevant experience preferably in Renewable Energy
- Exposure to renewable projects of 5 -100+ MW
- Commercial and Industrial experience preferable
- Project finance modelling experience preferable
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for End to End process for strategic Business Development
- Development and execution of sales strategy for the company
- Building and managing the company pipeline & managing the sales/BD process from proposal through to negotiations and close
- Work closely with Engineering to optimise customer value through proposed solutions
- Anticipating and reacting to major market changes to maintain company leadership
- Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s sales and market capture strategy
