Our Insurance Finance Division is seeking an experienced individual to join its Corporate Actuarial team. This role focuses on reserving and capital analytic tasks, requiring minimal guidance and contributing to the review and quality assurance of team members' work. Extract, collate, and transform data. Prepare and upload into software. Run models, export results, and collate reports while adhering to process governance and quality assurance requirements. • Prepare quarterly reserve and profitability review reports. Present findings at relevant governance meetings chaired by the CFO. • Participate and support the team with meeting preparation and administration. Set agendas, record, and distribute actions. • Support various finance and other business functions such as reinsurance, investment, capital, etc. • Extract, collate, and transform data. Prepare and upload into software. Run models, export results, and collate reports while adhering to process governance and quality assurance requirements. • Prepare quarterly and annual solo and group regulatory returns. • Help compile and prepare the company's Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA), specifically the Risk Tolerance Statement, Stress and Scenario Testing, and Solvency Projections. • Participate in calculating the Solvency Capital Requirement, reviewing Asset-Liability Management, and the risk-based allocation of capital to various business units. • Prepare and present results to the Capital Forum chaired by the CFO. • Contribute to various analyses as part of the annual planning cycle, including inflation projections, calibration of large loss thresholds, appropriate loadings for large, catastrophe, and weather claims, and reinsurance programme costing. • Support the annual reinsurance programme renewal with analyses and data extractions. • Have experience working within IFRS17 requirements, with a working knowledgeof the standard, and relevant actuarial concepts, methods, and techniques. Relationships Claims Finance Business Partners Actuarial (Pricing) Product Underwriting University degree in Actuarial Science or a related field. • Evidence significant exam progress towards qualifying as an actuary. Experience & Skills: • Proficiency in English • Effective intermediate oral and written communication, interpersonal skills • At least five years of relevant work experience • Ability to extract and summarise data • Experienced user of reserving and capital modelling software e.g., Psicle, Igloo, ResQ, etc. • Experienced in delivering work within timelines demanded by corporate reporting calendar.
