Our client the National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA) is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Telecoms OSS/BSS or Voice Engineer and Data Network Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining OSS/BSS solutions in the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Provides input into OSS/BSS OR Voice and Data Networks vision strategy and direction setting. Produces and integrates engineering solutions/designs for asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifecycle. Conducts discipline-specific research into new technologies. Participates in national and international technical forums. Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, service, and change impact evaluation. Provides a technical consulting and investigating service for customers (OU Support) Provides professional technical leadership over Engineers within their discipline. Knowledge: Computer or Electronics Engineering Disciplines Telecom Operational/Business support system OSS/BSS technologies including Design codes and standards. Engineering theory. Relevant processes, procedures, policies, guidelines, and legislation. Operational support systems EAS Cyber security Operational Support OT data room infrastructure DCN and coordination synchronisation Solutions Architecture Minimum Requirements: BSc / B Eng. in Engineering qualification 5 years post qualifications experience in Engineering-related technologies.
