The candidate will possess extensive knowledge of legal principles and regulations related to renewable energy projects , as well as a proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and support. Legal Advisory Services : Expert legal guidance and support on a wide range of matters related to renewable energy projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities Contract Negotiation and Drafting : Negotiate and draft contracts related to renewable energy projects. - Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Regulatory Compliance : Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and policies affecting the renewable energy industry, and work with regulatory agencies and industry associations to influence policy. Dispute Resolution and Litigation Management : Mediate, arbitrate, and litigate disputes related to renewable energy projects. Work with external counsel and internal teams to develop dispute resolution and litigation management strategies that achieve favorable outcomes while minimizing legal costs. Compliance and Ethics : Maintain compliance and ethical behavior within the organization, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures, while providing training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and ethical issues related to renewable energy projects, facilitating awareness and understanding. Matric Degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction. Minimum of two years of experience practicing law, with a focus on renewable energy or related fields. Strong knowledge of renewable energy laws, regulations, and industry standards. Proven experience negotiating and drafting complex contracts and agreements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
