If you're ready to drive improvements and face new challenges, apply now and help shape the future of our IT landscape Take the next step in your career and apply now Send your CV to Katesalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Conduct IT General Controls, Application Controls, and IT Security reviews Analyze business processes, define audit scopes, and develop audit programs Contribute to the IT Audit Plan, adapting it to emerging risks and agile methodologies Perform IT audits, meeting deadlines and budgets Prepare working papers, perform audit tests, conduct interviews, and gather evidence while updating stakeholders Execute audit procedures, identify issues, review evidence, and document processes Detect and communicate internal control weaknesses and trends Plan, execute, and report on special projects and investigations as needed Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Sc Honours (IT/Information Systems or BCom Honours (IT/Information Systems) Essential. CA or CIA qualification is advantageous. IT management or technical certification is highly advantageous: ITIL Foundation Certificate; ITIL Manager Certificate; CobiT Foundation Certificate; CISSP; CISA; CISM; and MCITP) Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in External Audit and/or corporate IT Internal Audit, including at least 2-4 years in a senior role. Deep expertise in the IT industry, encompassing technology and operations. Proficient in integrated IT risk-based auditing practices and methodologies, including frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, COSO, and ISO17799/ISO27001, along with global benchmarking tools and regulatory standards. Skilled in the selection and application of auditing practices, tools, and techniques for conducting comprehensive operational and IT audits. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in executing on-site IT audit engagements. SAP experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with ACL software is an advantage. Skills & Competencies: Deep knowledge of IIA's Standards for Internal Auditing and Code of Ethics, with the ability to apply them across diverse audit scenarios, including Accounting. Up-to-date understanding of IT, data, and privacy compliance relevant to Healthcare, including control compliance. Insight into emerging IT and Operational threats and risks affecting Netcare, the Healthcare sector, and the broader country. Practical experience with standard auditing tools and methodologies, and knowledge of regulations for safeguarding documentation. Integrated understanding of physical, IT, financial, operational, process, compliance, and image risks. Strong grasp of corporate governance requirements as per the King IV Code, Companies Act, and JSE listing rules.
