We are currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenace manager with experience within the metal manufacturing/ forging enviroment. Ideal candidate must have a degree in mechanical, industrial engineering, or Qualified Artisan with GCC. Thorough understanding and experience within a factory that manufactures metal products such as steel manufacturing. This would have included forging, hardening and grinding. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Speedy and efficient response to production breakdowns Scheduled maintenance to reduce downtime and improve machine availability Financial planning, budgeting and cost management Management of the maintenance staff to ensure maximised productivity and motivation Oversight of factory maintenance and upgrade projects Leading a team of maintenance technicians and overseeing maintenance activities. Conducting regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues Managing maintenance budgets and expenses Collaborating with production managers to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to production schedules. Implementing and overseeing a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of equipment and prevent breakdowns. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations Identifying opportunities for process improvement Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation for regulatory compliance and performance tracking Degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or similar with GCC Min 8 years in a senior management role within a manufacturing enviroment with maintenance experience. R900K - R1.2mil Depending on experience and qualification.
