Senior Procurement Officer - Germiston
Senior Procurement Officer Position exists within a stable engineering company in the east rand (Steel ) Salary R360 000 – R540 000CTC Duties: Purchasing of Steel and related equipment Ensure that pricing policies are followed to ensure no price discrepancies. Liaise with the accounts department for accounts queries related to supplier’s invoices, pricing, quantities etc. Conduct quarterly supplier management performance in conjunction with the contracts managers Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports and supplier Price Lists Prepare and maintain purchase orders and call off orders to suppliers daily Responsible to expedite purchase orders daily and ensure no late purchase orders on the system Qualifications and minimum requirements: Purchasing/Procurement qualification or related qualification 3 -5 years in a similar position Experience from a steel industry is an essential Syspro experience is essential.
