Senior Professional Nurse - Limpopo
Our energetic and lively client is looking for a Senior Professional Nurse (SANC) with theatre/scrub experience for their Day Hospital based in Limpopo.
Requirements:
Registered Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing (SANC).
Experience in all clinical procedures performed in a theatre/scrub environment.
required to work shifts when required in accordance with the unit needs.
Ensure that assessments of all relevant clinical procedures and management of risks are met.
Stock management.
To identify, report, investigate and address near-misses and adverse events.
Sound knowledge of the Scientific Nursing Process and BCA bundles.
A good understanding and application of patient care and unit management.
Builds and maintains relationships to achieve goals.
Responsible for the necessary outputs of team.
Key Outputs
Provides unit management support by maintaining quality management, performance management and people management practices.
Delivers comprehensive and quality patient care to deliver the needs of patient.
Prevents, reports and manages medico-legal risks. Conducts comprehensive patient care audits.
Ensure that patient records and registers are in accordance to legal requirements.
Identify professional development in accordance to (CPD) needs.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Good leadership abilities and be the role model.
Ability to do decision making and problem solving on the ground in line with Company policies .
Knowledge transfer be holistic learner support to learners and new employees.
Well organised and planning to contribute to meeting objectives.
