Senior Remuneration and Benefit Specialist - Centurion

A world class organisation is looking for a Senior Remuneration and Benefit Specialist. The main purpose of the role is to provide strategic guidance to the remuneration team, which is based on research in order to assist the company in achieving its intended remuneration and benefits objectives and targets. Your key responsibilities will include, but is not limited to: Strategic Advisory Excellence: Provide expert guidance and strategic advice on all remuneration matters. The conducted remuneration research will be utilised to stay ahead of market trends, allowing you to offer precise recommendations tailored to the company's requirements and budgetary constraints. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and inspire the company's remuneration team to achieve set objectives and targets. As well as guiding team members to uphold best practices and to ensure adherence to control procedures in order to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including line management, recruitment, and external consultants. Forge strong networks within the industry as it will be instrumental in gathering valuable insights and staying informed about the latest developments in remuneration practices globally. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to inform strategic decision-making. Such as, monitoring market trends, analysing data, and preparing insightful reports to support recommendations to senior management and the Board. Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with the Remuneration and Benefits manager to design and implement new programs and initiatives. Assist the company to adapt to an ever-changing environment, ensuring the business's remuneration strategies remain competitive and aligned with or the company's goals. Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and resolve any risks or issues related to remuneration practices. Proactively assist in maintaining compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and legal requirements, which will safeguard the company's reputation and financial integrity. Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare monthly management reports and annual budget submissions. Ensure accurate and timely reporting, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. Requirements: Matric with degree or 3-year diploma in Human Resources MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel Advanced and Power Point) and Sage. Exposure to all relevant legislation. Global Remuneration Practitioner (GRP) certification. 8 years ‘experience in Human Resource Management in specific Remuneration practices.
