Tertiary Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical / Metallurgical)
Requirements
Minimum 5 years relevant experience selling process equipment into mining industries and a good track record of dealings in African countries.
Proficient in MS Office and JDE
Communication, customer focused, high work standards, persuasive and can build strategic working relationships
Duties
Ensure that 90% of existing business is retained, market share is increased by obtaining new business
Monthly and annual sales budget and GP is met
Products and services are delivered to customer as per SLA and customer satisfaction is maintained
Marketing packs are collected before visits and all expenditures are reconciled by due date
Customer information is captured on ARC as it is received after each visit, weekly call plans are submitted to Manager and call reports are prepared by due date
Quotations are completed as and when required, sign off quotes within limit of authority and quotation feedback after each visit is provided
Three monthly order forecast updated monthly
Attendance and participation at exhibitions as discussed with Manager and market research is conducted in designated areas
Presentations are delivered to customer as required, opportunities are supported with point of sale material and quarterly presentation to management of market research and marketing activities in own area is done
