Job Description Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Senior Sales Executive is a highly experienced and results-driven professional who will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our B2B sales efforts. The position requires a proven track record in direct B2B solution sales, an existing network of industry contacts, and the ability to take ownership of key B2B industries to meet challenging business expectations. Responsibilities Strategic Sales Planning Develp and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth. Cllaborate with the Head of Sales to develop comprehensive sales strategies for targeted industry verticals. Analyse market trends and custmer needs to identify new business opportunities. Team Performance Management Lead and mtivate a high-performing sales force to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Prvide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering a high-performance culture. Business Development Meet r exceed quarterly and annual business development goals, focusing on establishing new customer relationships while safeguarding current customer bases. Identify and pursue new sales pportunities using consultative selling techniques to effectively position our products and services. Sales Presentations and Pitches Deliver high-impact sales presentatins tailored to different audiences ranging from operational delivery to board-level stakeholders. Effectively cmmunicate the value proposition of our offerings and address customer pain points to drive sales conversions . Industry Expertise and Product Development Practively become an industry expert within our core industry verticals, staying abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Prvide input into product development and roadmaps, leveraging your industry knowledge and customer insights. Tradeshows and Conferences Plan, prepare fr, and attend industry trade shows and conferences to network, build relationships, and identify partnership opportunities. Identify suitable events, cnferences, and industry platforms to showcase our organization and market our products. Take an active rle in planning and executing our participation in events, coordinating logistics, booth setup, and staffing requirements. Relationship Building and Networking Develp and nurture an extensive contact list within each industry vertical, fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders. Capitalise n event opportunities to network with industry professionals, potential clients, and key stakeholders. CRM Utilization Utilize a CRM tol (HubSpot) to record and track sales activities, ensuring accurate documentation and effective collaboration with the sales team and management. Travel and Regional Focus Travel within Africa peridically to meet clients, attend industry events, and build relationships in key markets. Brand Promotion Act as a brand ambassador, representing our organization and promoting our products and services at events and platforms. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred). Additional certifications or professional development courses in sales, business development, or leadership (a plus). Proven track record in direct B2B solution sales/SaaS, with a strong background in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Extensive experience (5 to 10 years) in strategic sales planning and business development, preferably within the B2B industry. Demonstrated success in managing and leading a sales team, driving their performance and fostering a high-performance culture. Experience in building and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts and relationships. Prior involvement in product development or providing input into product roadmaps based on market insights and customer needs. Track record of delivering impactful sales presentations and pitches to a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives. Experience in planning and executing participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and events. Familiarity with utilizing CRM tools, preferably HubSpot or similar platforms, for sales activity tracking and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
