Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior UX Researcher for a contract position, with 4-5 years of experience in UX research. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive product and service improvements. This position requires an on-site presence initially, available immediately. Plan, conduct and analyse comprehensive both qualitative and quantitative user research studies, including ethnographic research, usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations and interviews. Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to uncover user insights, patterns, and behaviours. Translate findings into actionable recommendations. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to integrate research findings into the product development process. Champion the needs and perspectives of users throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring their voice is heard and prioritized. Develop and refine research methodologies to ensure robust and reliable data collection and analysis. Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Stay updated on the latest UX research trends, tools, and methodologies, and continuously seek ways to improve our research practices. Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in UX research, preferably within the IT consulting or technology sector. Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Diploma or degree in a relevant field Preferred Skills : Proficiency in a variety of UX research methods and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices. Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus. Experience with tools commonly used in the banking sector in South Africa, such as Morae, Optimal Workshop, and UserTesting. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented and highly organized.
