Reference: CPT002594-KM-1 Are you a technically strong individual seeking an exciting challenge to be trained up as a Service Technician? Are you a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills? Keen to get into the printing industry and develop your skills and knowledge? If so, look no further Our client based in Cape Town are expanding their team and are recruiting for a Service Technician on a permanent basis. This role would suit a candidate who has experience within the printing industry or a candidate that has excellent customer service skills and is looking for the opportunity to be trained up. The Service Technician duties will include: Onsite and internal repairs of digital printers, vinyl cutters and engravers. Component testing and repair / replacement. Basic electrical and electronic knowledge. Sound knowledge of Windows. Familiar with CorelDraw, Photoshop and illustrator. Ability to troubleshoot communications devices. Telephonic support. General office assistance. The successful candidate will have: Matric with some technical experience. Be able to work in a pressurised environment. Excellent communication skills. Complete tasks efficiently and in a timeous manner. Excellent technical skills. Able to diffuse delicate situations in a professional manner. Must have valid driver's licence, and vehicle to commute to work. Good administrative skills. Customer focused and technology driven.
