Duties:

Support the GFM to execute the finance strategy ensuring operational alignment with established plans and policies.
Manage and support their teams ensuring that they remain consistent with the businesss overall strategy.
Mentor key personnel in their business area, ensuring their constant professional growth, and assisting them in the execution of their duties where necessary.
Managing resource capacity and cross-skill growth opportunities.
Developing and growing people, focusing on the teams core strengths and skills. Building and maintaining a healthy talent pool for this business unit.
Ensuring participative leadership and strong communication within the team
Collaboration with all business areas
Coaching and peer-to-peer learning
Maintain data and information relevant to service and operations for the purpose of conducting analyses that influence service-specific decision-making.
Proficiency in financial analysis, being able to identify opportunities and the development of financially viable long-term service and operation plans (GP on client level)
Monitor weekly financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing risk.
Continuous Monitoring of client and creditor accounts and weekly risk analysis.
Renewal of policies with Debtor Insurer.
Handling and managing credit applications with Suppliers.
Manage creditors process to completion for month ends.
Understand and comply with IFRS for SMEs.
Understand and comply with credit insurance and financing agreements.
Contribute to annual audit process for the group (pre-yearly audit meetings, coordination of Finance managers)
Managing external stakeholder relationships (Tax Advisors, Statutory advisors, auditors) within defined parameters.
