Requirements: Matric with Science and Mathematics. SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent occupational Health and Safety training. National Diploma Health & Safety Management Registered as a Professional Construction Health & Safety Officer under SACPCMP (Advantage) Environmental & Quality qualification an (Advantage) Management qualification would be desirable. Minimum 3 years Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Experience Minimum 5 years Chemical Manufacturing Environment. Minimum 3 years in a management role Minimum 2 years in Process Safety Management (all 3 modules) MS Office Process Safety Management, ISO auditing, Root Cause Analysis Environmental Act (ISO 14001) Quality Standard (ISO 9001) KPAs: Leads, develops, and manages the functioning of the management systems within the site production function Prepare for and participate in both internal and external audits Advice line management of any changes to the standards and incorporates them into daily functioning of the business Works in conjunction with line management to address any raw material deviation to ensure smooth operation of the production plants. Participates in cost control activities on site that affect the overall profits of the business Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
