Description Job Title: SHEQ Manager Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at our Johannesburg facility. The SHEQ Manager will evaluate incident forms, surveys, and audits, working with Supervisors and Managers to address root causes and formulate corrective action plans. Key Responsibilities: Implement and enforce health and safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Evaluate incident reports, surveys, and audit findings to identify and analyze root causes of non-compliance. Collaborate with Supervisors and Managers to address and rectify non-compliant behaviors or conditions. Develop and implement action plans to correct safety and health issues and improve overall compliance. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to SHEQ standards and regulations. Provide training and support to employees on safety procedures and best practices. Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance. Qualifications: Proven experience in a SHEQ management role or similar position. Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and implement effective safety and compliance programs. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis. Ability to work collaboratively with teams to drive compliance and improvements.
