  • Monday – Friday 08:00 - 17:00

REPORTS TO: Director

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS

  • R18,000 per month Gross (negotiable)

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualification in journalism / communications / marketing, or advertising
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in social media/community management and/or content strategy
  • Strong command of the English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of each social network and best practices with emerging trends
  • A creative thinker, with the ability to use both data and intuition to make decisions
  • Self-starting and proactive with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail. A proactive mindset with the initiative to lead. We're looking for someone who can independently drive our social media efforts forward.
  • Experience using social media marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking, with a keen eye for design and content.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:

  1. Content Management:
  • Oversee and curate engaging and relevant content for all social media platforms.
  • Planning, creating, and publishing of various content types (Facebook posts, Instagram posts, TikTok, tweets, blog posts, in the form of images, GIFs, videos, slideshows, quizzes etc.)
  • Planning, creating and publishing ads on social platforms
  • Running of competitions on social platforms
  • Managing a monthly budget for ads and boosted posts
  • Managing listings and other review platforms
  • Assisting with monthly newsletters
  • Edit, sort and post photos for “before & after” campaigns
  1. Campaign Analysis:
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns through key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics tools.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to optimize future strategies.
  1. Stay Updated:
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Apply this knowledge to continually enhance our social media presence.
  • Keeping abreast of local and international social media trends and tools
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the Aesthetic & Skin Care industries and building relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Reporting to the Director on a regular basis to keep them updated and informed on the day-to-day operations and progress of work
  1. Tool Utilization:
  • Proficiently use social media marketing tools to streamline processes, monitor performance, and enhance overall efficiency.
  1. SEO Monitoring:
  • Monitor SEO performance and user engagement on social media platforms.
  • Propose and implement content optimization strategies for improved visibility.
  • Using measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and recommend ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
  1. Networking:
  • Actively engage with industry professionals, influencers, and virtual communities. Cultivate relationships to expand our network and enhance brand credibility.
  • Community management (responding to comments and relaying feedback)
  • Handling of all complaints that are received via social media
