Our software company is actively seeking a Software Tester. As we expand our range of product offerings, our commitment to delivering high-quality software remains strong, and we are adding additional members to our Quality Assurance team. As our family of SaaS products grows, our steadfast commitment to high-quality software continues, prompting us to expand our Quality Assurance team. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position based in Cape Town, South Africa . We request that candidates from other areas refrain from applying at this time. Essential Duties & Responsibilities As a Software Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include: Analyzing Requirements: Understand user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility. Test Planning and Execution: Perform various levels of testing, including UX/UI and system testing. Defect Management: Analyze test results, identify errors, bugs, and usability issues. Track and manage software defects and inconsistencies, providing recommendations for repairs. Quality Assurance: Provide QA support and maintain relevant documentation. Collaboration: Work closely with the Development team and Customer Support team for smooth coordination and understanding of project needs. Experience and Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience working remotely for a UK or US-based company. Must be absolutely fluent in English with excellent verbal and written business communication skills. Great organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Strong technological aptitude. Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office software. Good time management and the ability to prioritize effectively. Bonus Points Experience working for a technology company.
