AUTO24, a leading automotive company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality automotive products and components for AUTO24's operations across multiple locations. This is a critical position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive effective negotiations with suppliers and vendors. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive sourcing strategy for AUTO24's automotive products and components Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and vendors Evaluate supplier and vendor capabilities, performance, and risks to develop appropriate supplier selection and management plans Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality products and components Negotiate and finalize supplier agreements, contracts, and pricing to achieve strategic goals and objectives Monitor supplier and vendor performance metrics, including delivery, quality, cost, and inventory levels Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing supply chain stability and reliability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field 5 years of experience in automotive sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management Demonstrated knowledge of automotive products and components, supply chain processes, and industry trends and best practices Expertise in supplier/vendor selection and management, contract negotiation, and cost management Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct market analysis, evaluate supplier performance, and develop strategic sourcing plans Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
