Position Purpose Support Medscheme Healthcare Facilities Unit in its product offerings within the Health Risk Management Capability unit at a strategic and tactical level with the required knowledge and background to execute. Manage, enhance and maintain the execution of the strategy and enabling operations. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate. Continuous improvement Understand interdependence of different systems and processes in area of specialisation and department Provide specialist input into efficiency, compliance and quality objectives for relevant area Identify problems and develop and propose solutions to present to appropriate leader or stakeholders Cost containment Support the identification, implementation and development of cost-effective processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost drivers Continuously review cost / benefit and ROI Drive customer-centricity Maintain a high level of inter-departmental understanding in order to deliver on professional excellence Continuously increase understanding of client and stakeholder needs, satisfaction and service delivery Knowledge management Ensure that adequate knowledge, regarding area of expertise, is shared as required and maintained within the research library Provide advice and / or training as required Maintain and develop specialist knowledge Maintain expertise level Be a member of and make regular contributions to professional bodies, including publication of articles and research findings Ensure CPD (continual professional development) or similar accreditation requirements are met annually to ensure maintained specialist accreditation Network key relationships Build and maintain an established network of internal (peers and executives) and external expert resources and partners Represent the brand in professional networks Specialist support to projects Own Specialist knowledge in projects, when required Conform to project management disciplines when participating in projects Represent department or project on appropriate governance committees Position Specific Outputs Brand Management: Live the brand through the delivery and management of content according to Afrocentric values Manage and Maintain Product Portfolio Content and Communications: Represent the business capability in the organisation's governance model. This includes the conceptualisation, research, analysis, design, provider engagement and documentation of new products and processes, as well as executive monitoring of the product. Provide inputs into the development of reporting and profiling capabilities for cost and quality metrics Facilitate as the subject matter expert for this solution capability and product owner to ensure product content enables the implementation of all business strategies. Manage and maintain consistency of all product-related content by working collaboratively with capability owners and forums. Attend and participate in all required forums in the governance model. Support all roles in the business model. Excellence in communication and collaboration. Manage and Maintain Solution Capability Portfolio Systems: Interpret and analyse any system requirements in support of the solution capability strategy. Facilitate and assist with user acceptance testing and coach teams through changes. Continuous Improvement: Enable participative leadership, sharing and collective intelligence. Identify areas of improvement and solving for sustainable solutions through root cause analysis. Leadership: Provide tactical guidance in accordance with the capability strategy in appropriate forums. Coach and enable teams that you work with to reach their potential Relationship Management: Collaborate and manage all stakeholders proactively. Understand your stakeholders needs. Build and establish relationships at all levels with external partners and internal departments to ensure that timeous resolutions are found to any problems that may arise. Develop, maintain and improve consistent client communication and engagements Quality Management: Support the business objectives and drive customer satisfaction through the required metrics. Monitor trends and provide possible improvements Understand and drive digital transformation: Understand an embrace technology and attributes required in a Digital Environment. Empower the digital agile way of working to optimise efficiencies, improve communication and collaboration. Display ability to adapt easily to changing circumstances as the job functions constantly change depending on business requirements. Enable visibility and measurement across the business through collaboration and human connection. Qualifications: Clinical or business degree. Post graduate Diploma and Professional Registration Advantageous Experience: 5 years Managed Care, Hospital strategy and Hospital negotiations experience. 5 years leadership and alternative reimbursement models experience 2 years communication experience and 2 years Acute and Chronic Care Facilities Advantageous Knowledge Private Health Care Industry Health legislation and regulatory Healthcare facilities industry Skill Interpretation and analysis of data visualization Health facilities strategy development and negotiations Microsoft Excel Mechanical Thinking Task Management Problem-Solving Microsoft Suite Communication Skills Ability to work on multiple levels of complexity and priorities Project Management Negotiation skills Market related Apply Now
