Permanent position - based fully on-site (with some flexibility) We are looking for a Senior Storage Specialist within the Enterprise environment Maintain Storage, SAN, Compute hardware by providing OEM good practice by designing, implementing, and deploying shared system resources, like disks and networking. Provide performance analysis and troubleshooting, data recovery strategies for critical systems, and data backup measures. Maintain all current IT Infrastructure and Data Centers Maintain all IT DR policies, procedures and strategies Create and maintain capacity strategies for IT Enterprise hardware Data Centre Management SLA Management for Data Center Services Infrastructure Availability Reporting Assist with Value Added Services Recommendations and implementation of actions for continuous improvement Ad-hoc projects within the defined scope of the supported products Identification of innovative ideas to improve service delivery Client interaction, advising on best practice, innovative Identify Sound knowledge of, Design and Maintenance for Storage, Server, Backups, Operating Systems SAN – Physical and Fabrics (Director Class, Blade Chassis switches) Grade 12 Undergraduate degree/diploma in IT or must be currently working towards completing a Degree/Diploma in IT Various hardware vendor experience and certifications ITIL certification A and N Certification IT Enterprise size DR, plan, implement and maintain Managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ I, experience or certified Managing HPE 3PAR StoreServ II, experience or certified Implementing MSA Storage Solutions, experience or certified Brocade SAN Enterprise Experience, experience or certified 5 years' experience in an Enterprise IT Environment Ticket management Design Documentation, create and maintain Systems and Systems Integration Vendor Management Managing 15 Petabytes Technical lead for Plan, Build and Operate HPE 3PAR (7000 series, 20800 serious) HPE MSA HPE Blade Chassis (9000 series, 7000 series) HPE Physical servers (Various models) SAN – Physical and Fabrics (Director Class, Blade Chassis switches) Salary Market Related
