Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the store. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of inventory management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of products.
Order Processing: Process incoming and outgoing orders promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Supervision: Lead and motivate store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric environment, resolving inquiries and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety Compliance: Uphold safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
Vendor Relations: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, resolve disputes, and maintain positive relationships.
Store Maintenance: Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the store, ensuring a visually appealing and functional retail space.
Reporting: Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for store staff to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and operational efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, particularly regarding safety, security, and product handling.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the electrical industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service, with a keen understanding of customer needs and expectations.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical products and terminology, enabling effective communication with customers and suppliers.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with inventory management software.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, staff, and suppliers.
