Job Requirements- Grade 12 (Critical)
- Forklift license (advantage)
- Stores certificate (advantage)
- 2 years experience in a Stores Environment
Technical skills and specialist knowledge:- Knowledge of MS Office
- Syspro (Receipts, Bill of ladings inventory query)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Doc Boxing (invoicing processes)
- Translution Program Bar coding (advantage)
Roles and Responsibilities Receiving and Issuing of Stock- Ensure all goods received from production have the correct documentation (blue cards)
- Ensure all goods received are in an acceptable condition.
- Ensure all documentation has been captured through Company Systems (Syspro and/or Translution)
- Ensure all goods go through the Quality System (Control shipping)
- Ensure all goods are in their correct locations after the Quality Systems Approval
- Ensure daily call off from the customer is printed (TSAM)
- Ensure all customers demands are met (all required parts are delivered / supplied) using RMC transport if necessary.
- Plan and co-ordinate the activities of the FG Members.
Stock Cycle Counts- Stock cycle counts shall be conducted accurately according to work standards
Stock TakingParticipate in monthly stock takes (verification, capturing of stock)
Elimination of waste- Accurately record all data on the data capture sheet timeously.
Continuous Improvement- Make Kaizen activity suggestions to make improvements.
5S and Safety, Health & Environmental- Practice and improve 5S in your work area in line with the 5S check sheet.
- Ensure PPE is worn according to work standards.
- All incidents need to be reported within the same shift.
- Perform all safety checks according to the safety standards.
- Follow the SHEMS procedures.
Quality- Ensure parts produced meet quality specifications and follow up on non-conforming product procedures.
- Work cycle must be completed before leaving work..
Delivery- Raise problems and concerns to the Shift leader timeously.
Attendance- Responsible for own personal attendance to ensure it is 98% on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure all information on timesheets are accurate and submit to the Manager.
People development- Follow HR Policies & Procedures. Responsible for own personal development.
General- Pack parts as per the packing instruction and perform work according to the set standards.
- Raise problems and concerns to the Team Leader timeously.
