STUDENT SERVICES OFFICER
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing student administration and records, managing financial transactions and records, addressing student and agent inquiries, maintaining office and facilities, supervising the Student Services Assistant.
- Amount and Kind of Supervision Received
- Regular supervision from the Centre Manager, including periodic reviews, guidance, and feedback.
- Amount and Kind of Supervision Exercised
- Direct supervision of the Student Services Assistant, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and providing training and support.
- Decisions Which Can Be Made
- Routine administrative decisions, resolution of standard student and financial queries, office maintenance decisions, and initial handling of agent concerns.
- Decisions Which Must Be Referred
- Complex student issues, major financial decisions, policy changes, significant operational changes, and escalated agent or student conflicts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- More than 4 years of experience in a student services role with significant exposure to international students, of which 2 years is specific relevant experience in a student services role in the efl Industry.
- An undergraduate degree
- Preferred qualifications and experience
- General tefl qualification and more than 2 years efl teaching experience of which 1 year is specific relevant experience.
- Experience of living and working abroad
