The Company is looking for a well experienced and qualified Ship Spares Supervisor to join its ranks as soon as possible. The successful candidate should possess a combination of leadership skills, communication abilities, and a strong understanding of the team's objectives and processes. Duty Station: Walvis Bay, Namibia Reporting to: Marine, Mining and Energy Manager Job Grade: C1 Job Summary : This role will be responsible for overseeing the team's performance and to ensure that all productivity, quality, and service level targets are met. Effective communication of policies, procedures, and escalation protocols is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and resolving issues effectively are crucial aspects for this role. Key Performance Areas: Budget/ Revenue Management: Ensure that targets are met, by coordinating and monitoring jobs. Admin/ Finance Management: Manage cash and debtors accounts, cargo releases and ensure the completeness of jobs in terms of revenue. Customer Service: Direct liaison with customers and managing the relationship. Customs Process: Manage and mitigate the number of dormant and non-acquitted items/ bonds. Employee Management: Streamline structures and ensure that on-the-job training is conducted. Policy Review: Review and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices in accordance with Industry standards and legislation. Focus on internal controls, risk management and financial reporting. Compliance with ISO and SHEQ requirements. Namibian Citizen Grade 12 or equivalent Computer literate: Microsoft Office Systems Exposure: Asycuda World, EDI Cargowise, and workflow. FIATA Diploma or equivalent diploma/ degree Minimum 7 years' experience in the Logistics Industry Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a Supervisory role Minimum 3 years of experience working with ship spares. Good knowledge and understanding of OHSE systems and their requirements. Valid Driver's License Kindly note that no email or paper documents will be accepted.
