Reference: CTE025688-LLR-1 Assume the position of Supply Quality Coordinator at a forward-thinking multinational company, where you can leverage your expertise to lead a dedicated team in driving global advancements in technology and engineering. Job Description: Oversee the organization and review of PPAP parts at production facilities, ensuring results are properly documented Administer and coordinate incoming inspections with staff at production sites Facilitate and manage corrective actions Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and internal teams Prepare and deliver regular reports on the status of PPAP parts, document submissions, and SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) This role involves occasional travel (up to 10%) and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, measuring tools, and interpreting technical drawings Organize and log incoming PPAP parts, ensuring they are reviewed before production and their status is accurately documented. Prepare weekly status reports Handle PPAP documents by reviewing, filing, and logging them, and ensure completeness. Communicate with suppliers and prepare weekly reports on submissions and statuses Manage CAPA activities by reviewing SCARs, ensuring adequate information, supporting SCAR closure, coordinating containment and inspections, and preparing related reports Skills & Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project engineering and quality control, with automotive industry experience preferred Familiarity with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience in project administration and coordination Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with assertiveness Proficient in Microsoft Office and report compilation Skilled in using measuring tools, reading technical prints, and performing part measurements and incoming inspections Effective at managing corrective actions and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Qualification: National Diploma or BTech in Quality, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
