Supply Chain Intern - - Stellenbosch

An exciting opportunity exists with Personal Care Product Manufacturing environment for a Supply Chain Graduate, responsible for:

Working with data to generate reporting on Cost and trends to driver decision making.
Stock take assistance and control.
Production processing and reporting.
Transport and Warehouse activities.
Procurement Functions – receiving and control.

This role will support the full Supply Chain Management function of the business. Touching every part in Supply chain, this will be a great opportunity to apply your learnings from your studies. This is a office based role in Stellenbosch.

About the role:

The departments that you will be exposed to are:

Procurement – receiving, costings, freight forwarding and buying functions.
Production – controls and reporting.
Warehouse and Logistics – stock takes, processes reviews and cost reporting.
Planning – learn how to build data sets and dive into data.
Master data generation and control.

This is just some of the departments that you will get exposure to and that you will be involved in.

Pre-Requisites:

Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field, with limited or no work experience.
MS Excel.
Must have reliable transport to commute to and from work daily, the vacancy is a 100% office base role.
