Technical Sales Engineer - Johannesburg

Responsibilities

  • Manage and streamline sales processes to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current with technical product specifications and industry trends.
  • Participate in industry training and events to enhance skills and collaborate with stakeholders to provide effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential clients to expand sales territories.
  • Confidently and patiently assist customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
  • Promote and advocate for high-quality, sustainably made products that offer long-term value, encouraging customers to invest in more durable and environmentally responsible solutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree and/or relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical sales related to electro-pneumatic automation.
  • Proficiency in sales management; Zoho CRM and marketing experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Valid driver’s license.
