We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join the team. Identify potential markets and clients in order to grow sales. Establish and maintain close contact with key client representatives. Understand the workshop capability and capacity in order to promote the workshop portfolio. Evaluate customer inquiries to ascertain the suitability of the potential business. Diversify service offerings into the mining sector, structural steel, or other growth markets. Advise the project team and workshop team on market trends. Monitor and assess online tender platforms and bulletins to identify and pursue new business opportunities and clients. Provide hands on customer and after sales service Develop and execute sales and marketing plans and material to customers in the industry Meet target expectations Provide regular reports on sales activities and results Must be willing to travel Candidates residing in Witbank area would be an advantage Qualifications Grade 12 / N3 Relevant Diploma in Engineering (Advantageous) Computer Literate (MS Office) Driver's License Experience 5-10 years sales/business development experience in the Mining and/or Power generation Industry Technical knowledge applicable to Steel fabrication, plate, piping, pressure equipment within the Mining and Power generation Industry Experience in steel plate cutting, laser, profile cutting, bending, rolling, and fabrication processes Experience in steel service centres, suppliers, subcontracting
