Technical Sales Representative - Hydraulics Basic Salary Commission - Midrand

Our Client in the Hydraulics industry are seeking a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE GAUTENG / EAST RAND REGION to be responsible for generating revenue for the company by selling its complete range of OEM industrial supplies and equipment. This is achieved by supporting their customers through the sales cycle, addressing questions and concerns to ensure constant customer satisfaction. Sales Representatives will demonstrate company products and give advice to clients on the benefits of using their products to reduce costs and increase revenue. Sales representatives spend much of their time travelling and visiting the existing clients and prospective customers Responsibilities: Develop and execute a sales plan that meets or exceeds sales targets. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation and networking. Conduct regular product presentations to customers and prospects. Actively participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Communicating new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to the Sales Manager Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions. Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up, closings, and adherence to targets. Provide weekly feedback relating to lost sales and back orders. Submit weekly call sheets to the sales manager as well as call planners for the week ahead. Update and maintain all customer records and ensure continuous improvement of the CRM database. Presenting and selling company services and products to current and prospective clients. Preparing proposals, presentations, and sales contracts. Establishing and maintaining new and established client relationships. Managing account services through follow-up and quality checks. Developing and implementing special sales activities in order to reduce stock. Coordinating with company staff to achieve the work required in closing sales. Ensuring that COD customer accounts are kept up dated and paid regularly. Any additional duties as required by the Sales Manager. Minimum Requirements: MUST have valid driver's license. Matric or NQF level 4 Certificate or Diploma in Sales or Marketing – Advantageous Minimum 3 years relevant industry/product knowledge with proven sales track record Excellent knowledge of sales processes and techniques Ability to use customer relationship management (CRM) software.
