Job overview My client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to be responsible for the Gauteng (specifically Johannesburg South) area. The successful candidate will report to the National Sales Manager in Johannesburg. Responsibilities Generate sales Customer Relationship Management – manage expectations and oversee that a customer's needs are met in a timely fashion Follow up on outstanding quotations Provide prompt and timeous response to customers regarding quotations, orders and deliveries. Responsible for individual sales targets Handling and resolving customer queries regarding a product or service Ownership and resolution of sales related issues Act as the single point of contact for customers Remain up-to-date with product knowledge and trends in industry and general business. Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives Ensure all orders received are entered onto the Skynamo system accurately Requirements/ Skills needed Desirable Minimum of 2 years sales Knowledge of Skynamo CRM advantageous Strong customer service background Sound knowledge of the practical application of a sales department Experience of building relationships with customers Cross-discipline team working Able to provide evidence of working in a target related environment Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations Track record of understanding how to reach and identify prospective customers Excellent telephone manner Excellent time management and personal organizational skills Ability to work to deadlines Ability to work closely to instructions Excellent numeracy skills Excellent communication/telesales skills Strong attention to detail Proficient at Microsoft Office and Excel
