Telesales Agent (Renewable Energy) Market-related - Johannesburg

With impressive growth in our client's sales department year after year, we're excited to keep the momentum going. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our client's Telesales team. As a Telesales Agent, you should be able to promote and sell the company's products and services over the phone (inbound and outbound) and respond to interest via email and WhatsApp effectively. You should be well-spoken and maintain a calm composure at all times. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to set in motion long-lasting customer relationships regardless of customer doubts. Our ideal agent is a self-starter with a proven track record in outbound sales, achieving sales targets with a minimum success rate of 20%. Contact customers: Conduct outbound sales calls and communicate with potential customers. Understand and respond to customer needs: Ask questions to understand customer requirements and preferences. Answer questions about products or the company. Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed. Handle objections and negotiate to close sales deals. Customer relationship management: Set the precedent for strong customer relationships. Preserve the company's reputation should issues arise. Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales. Sales and performance: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Fulfil monthly and yearly sales targets. Record keeping and database management: Accurately enter and update customer information in the platform. Maintain accurate records of activities and customer interactions in the platform. Order Processing: Note customer requirements or orders and process them to the concerned department. Process orders according to the agreed and formulated workflows. Proven experience as a Telesales Agent, selling a solution, not just a product. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone. Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software), omnichannel, and telephone systems. Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects. Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection. Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities. Highly motivated individual. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to offer excellent customer service regardless of the outcome. Zendesk proficiency is a plus. Experience and qualifications: High school diploma and Bachelor's degree. Proven experience as a Telesales Agent, driving and meeting sales targets, selling solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good knowledge of relevant computer, omnichannel, and telephone systems. Results-driven with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Here's what to expect from your work as a Telesales Agent: Regular shift hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Flexibility needed: Work hours may extend into the weekend or after hours during the week, depending on our dynamic strategies.
