They are looking to enhance their sales function and are in search of a dynamic Telesales Manager to lead the charge. The Telesales Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing a robust telesales strategy and nurturing a team of Telesales Agents. They are seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in an active role—someone who's no stranger to "rolling up their sleeves" and setting a stellar example for the team. This leadership will be crucial in shaping the team's development, collaborating closely with other senior leaders. Key Responsibilities: Build and lead a team, set clear goals, and motivate them to exceed targets. Establish and monitor performance against KPIs. Lead by example to foster inspiration and drive. Collaborate with the team to reach out to prospective customers, assisting in closing sales. Spearhead the recruitment and training of new telesales agents, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel. Implement innovative sales strategies, monitor their effectiveness, and make adjustments to optimize results. Generate sales reports to keep track of progress. Rework sales scripts to enhance communication. Address urgent requests or queries promptly, overseeing the quality and quantity of customer interactions. Coordinate daily tasks and workflows. Initiate self-imposed initiatives to boost conversion rates and revenue growth. Person Competency and Characteristics Proven experience in leading a team of Telesales Agents. A knack for inspiring and motivating the team, ensuring they consistently meet or exceed their targets and KPIs. Expertise in training and elevating the skills of Telesales Agents. Outstanding communication, listening, and coaching abilities. A results-driven mindset, focused on achieving goals. A solid track record of conducting performance reviews and appraisals effectively. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in insurance, sales, or marketing. At least 5 years of experience in a Telesales Manager role or a similar position within a Sales department. Proven expertise in cold calling, warm calling, and initiating business opportunities. A keen understanding of the latest industry trends and developments. Stellar communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Excellent time management and organisational abilities. Robust leadership skills with a knack for inspiring teams. The capacity to multitask and navigate stressful situations with ease. A highly motivated and detail-oriented approach. The ability to thrive under pressure. Zendesk experience is a bonus; proficiency with systems is essential. Independence and a collaborative spirit in equal measure. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Work Schedule Regular hours: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility needed: Work hours may extend into the weekend or after hours during the week, depending on dynamic strategies.
