We are recruiting a Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a well-established Pretoria base manufacturing concern. The successful incumbent will call on customers predominantly in the construction industry. Minimum requirements Matric 3 year technical sales experience Drivers license with own vehicle Duties Prospecting and lead generation: Identify and research potential customers and generate new leads through various methods, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals. Customer engagement and relationship building: Establish and build relationships with customers. Understand the needs and requirements of customers through effective communication. Products presentation and demonstration: Conduct presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the products and services. Demonstrating how the offering meets the customer needs. Quotations/Tenders, negotiation and closing: Accurately prepare quotations and tenders. Negotiating prices, terms, and conditions to meet both customer and company needs. Achieving sales targets: Working towards closing sales deals and achieving sales targets assigned by the company. Market and competitor analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Using market intelligence to position the company's products and services effectively. Customer services and post-sales support: Address customer inquiries and concerns. Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaboration with internal teams: Coordinate with internal teams, such as colleagues, marketing, engineering, production, finance, and the rigging teams. Share insights from the field to improve products and services. Sales reporting and documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, new and current project status updates. Prepare regular sales reports for management. Continuous learning and professional development: Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques. Attend training programs when necessary to enhance sales skills. Adhere to sales processes and policies: Follow established sales processes and adhere to company policies. Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in sales practices. Travel (if necessary): Travelling to sites, visiting clients, attending site meetings, and delivering any office requirements are some of the travelling responsibilities. Salary Bracket R30 000 to R45 000 p/month, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current/previous salary Short term incentive and bonus in line with company policy
