Marketing, new business development, and sales of pumping systems within South Africa. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in technical sales with a proven track record within the fluid handling/water pump sector Knowledge of pump systems related to domestic applications, industrial fields, groundwater, wastewater and sewage, civil plants, agriculture, and irrigation Key Accountabilities: Generate sales by calling on an identified customer base and canvassing new business within the specified region. Expand and grow market share by selling across all categories within the range of products available. Provide reports on market-related activity including market share analysis and competitor activity. Achieve monthly and annual budgets by generating sales within the specified area. Responsibilities: Sales: Achieve monthly sales/margin/contribution budgets by calling on customers Achieve monthly set sales targets Achieve budgets by utilizing a set pricing structure Market and present new products launched to customers within the region Training customers Administration: Submit weekly sales reports Submit new and updated current customer plans Ensure all orders are captured on a daily basis Attend sales meetings as required Submit detailed expense reports and business trip summaries Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent Post-matric qualification in engineering will be an advantage Knowledge of pump technology/principles Proficient in Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to negotiate at all levels Able to work independently Valid South African driver's license Able and willing and able to travel extensively Desired Skills: B2B New Business Development Technical Sales Product Training Desired Work Experience: 5 to 10 years Electrical Equipment Manufacturing 5 to 10 years Representative / Sales Consulting Desired Qualification Level: Grade 12 / Matric About The Employer: International manufacturer of water pumps and pumping systems - domestic applications, industrial fields, groundwater, wastewater and sewerage, civil plants, building -service sector, agricultural and irrigation, swimming pools, and spa baths.
