Reference: JHB002277-DN-1 Our engineering client based in Durban is looking for an experienced Technical Service Manager to join their team Key requirements Marine experience At least 5 years of experience in a similar role Qualified artisan (Diesel fitter/Mechanic/Mechatronics) Key responsibilities Drive customer success by guiding the team to solve technical problems Demonstrate a hands-on approach, all the way from project implementation to completion Maintain strong relationships within the technical services team Plan and implement jobs Help define projects scope, goals and deliverables Collect and manage budget, allocate project resources, create a schedule and project timeline Track deliverables, support and direct team, lead quality assurance Present to the CEO reports on progress as well as problems and solutions Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs Evaluate and assess the result of the projects Implement long-range and immediate plans and objectives of the Technical services department Maintain accurate records of jobs completed and associated financial costs.
