Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a Professional Services Tender Specialist to join the team of our esteemed client, a leading national consulting engineering firm. Specializing in civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services, our client also excels in project management and environmental consulting. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, driving excellence in engineering and consulting services across the nation. Responsibilities: Prepare and submit compelling and competitive tender proposals. Analyze tender documents to understand client requirements and ensure alignment with the organization's vision, mission, and capabilities. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the services offered by the organization. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards, while aligning with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for tender submissions. Manage and oversee the entire tender process, from identifying opportunities in various media to compiling and submitting proposals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Monitor tender submissions and provide regular updates to management. Attend and keep records of briefing meetings. Requirements: Strong understanding of professional services tendering within the built environment, including relevant acts and regulations. Must be an effective communicator in person, over the phone, and through writing and email. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF readers. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Tender Specialist or in a similar role within a professional services or built environment organization. Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field. Familiarity with the built environment industry, preferably within the consulting engineering sector and its services. Skilled in working with both cloud environments and hard copies. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF readers (e.g., Foxit). Experience with tender management software is a plus. Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Skilled in handling both cloud-based and hard copy documents.
