Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
Eng/BSc Engineering or similar degree with at least 5 years experience in Logistics and / or Rail
Registered as a Professional Candidate Engineer
Geometric and formation design experience using various codes and standards.
Previous experience should include assessments and analysis, modelling, concept engineering.
Participate in project feasibility studies and business cases (including project scoping and structuring, procurement strategy, quantified risk analysis)
Good knowledge of supply chain management, complex problem solving
Computer literate with preferably programming skills such as python, Java and advanced Excel skills
Good exposure to research, analysis, synthesis and problem-solving
Must demonstrate strong numeracy capabilities
Must be able to think logically and work independently
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
Participate in asset development planning
Provide technical inputs and analyses for the identification, design, development, processing and evaluation of projects in the division
Participate and develop strategic integrated transport and logistics planning
Participate in project and program management in a major capital project environment
