Tube Laser Operator - South Africa
Job Tile: Tube Laser Operator Location: Germiston Salary: Market-Related Duties: Set up and operate tube laser cutting machines to cut steel tubes according to specifications. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine proper dimensions and tolerances. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Coordinate with other team members to optimize production schedules and workflow. Requirements Matric. Experience operating tube laser cutting machines or similar CNC equipment. Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards. Basic math skills and understanding of measurements. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
