We're recruiting a Unit Manager- Theatre to lead a multidisciplinary team in a Theatre Department in the private sector. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day patient care, supervising, directing, and developing nurse staff, and reporting to the Nursing Manager to ensure quality patient care within a long-term care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community. Diploma/Degree in General Nursing Care Post basic qualification in Operating Theatre is mandatory Post basic qualification in Management will be an advantage Valid registration with SANC Experience in a Theatre environment is advantageous 2-3 years of leadership experience in a hospital Proven experience in people management Must be able to function effectively independently Good understanding of the private healthcare sector
