Reference: CPT003313-Andre-1 SD Recruitment's Hospitality Division, representing a client in Goodwood, is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to ensure guests and residents receive service characterized by professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy. Key Responsibilities: Changing table linen as needed, ensuring proper exchange of soiled linen for clean, usable items. Cleaning and replenishing cruet and condiment sets. Setting tables according to established standards, ensuring cleanliness and proper condition of all items used. Maintaining designated areas to uphold hygiene standards. Having thorough knowledge of menu items to confidently recommend or explain options to residents. Serving food and beverages according to laid-down standards, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Practicing excellent customer relations, accommodating resident needs without inconveniencing other guests. Handling customer complaints effectively and reporting them to the floor supervisor when necessary. Assisting with stock audits and reporting any variances or breakages to the floor supervisor. Ensuring accurate billing of orders and reporting any errors to the manager. Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming. Experience and Knowledge: High School Diploma Additional education, certifications, or relevant experience may be preferred Proven experience as a Waiter. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine knowledge. Skills and Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates a sense of urgency. Dedicated team player with a positive attitude. Focuses on achieving excellence and maintaining high-quality standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required for this role.
