Our client, a well-established automotive dealership, is looking for an experienced Toyota Workshop Manager, based in the Limpopo Province.

The ideal candidate must have a Trade Test (Motor Mechanic) with experience in a franchise dealership.

Responsibilities:

Manage and grow workshop
Provide technical support for technicians when necessary
Check progress of each repair order throughout the day
Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
Road tests vehicles to quality-check work performed
Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records
Monitor shop condition, including cleanliness, safety and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager
Ensures the proper care, storage and inventory of special tools
Maintains safe work environment
Communicate with staff, parts department, and other departments effectively

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

Trade Test Certificate (Motor Mechanic)
Strong technical skills and knowledge
Excellent management style
Workshop Manager experience at a Motor Vehicle Dealership with a stable work track record
Valid Drivers License
Computer literate
